Weekly Vocabulary

1. Ambrotype- is a photograph that creates a positive image on a sheet of glass using the wet plate collodion process 
2. Tintype-  is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of iron coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion
3. Heliography-  A device for transmitting messages by reflecting sunlight
4. Daguerreotype-  An early photographic process with the image made on a light-sensitive silver-coated metallic plate
